Atlantis on the Launch Pad

Space Shuttle Atlantis at the launch pad, getting ready for its targeted July 8 launch, and the
final flight of the U.S. Space Shuttle Program, with 11 experiments aboard from NCESSE’s Student Spaceflight Experiments Program.  There were 11,000 grade 5-12 students were given the opportunity to be real scientists, and 530 proposals were received.
