This past week saw the historic launch of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, and the first berthing of a commercial vehicle with the International Space Station. The Aquarius payload of SSEP Mission 1 to ISS experiments was the only science payload aboard.
There was extensive media coverage of the flight of Aquarius on Dragon, reflecting the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, and recognizing the achievements of student researchers across America.
Below is list of articles that reflect SSEP coverage by NASA, the national press, and local media outlets. We have also added these articles to the official SSEP In the News page, which is now quite extensive with over 150 links to articles, and found at the SSEP Community Network Hubsite.
If we have omitted any articles from the list below, please contact us with the link and we will add it to the list.

Virginia Students to Launch SSEP Mission 2 to Space Station in mid-October, 2012
SPACEPORTS, March 10, 2012
http://spaceports.blogspot.com/2012/03/virginia-students-to-participate-in-sep.html
SSEP is undertaken by the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education (NCESSE) in partnership with NanoRacks LLC. This on-orbit, real research opportunity for students is enabled through NanoRacks LLC, which is working in partnership with NASA under a Space Act Agreement as part of the utilization of the International Space Station as a National Laboratory.
